A little spreadsheet with the figures for a heads up comparo.
Thank you for the chart. Can't wait to see your chart a year from now with the C7 high performance model included on it.
Do you guys think that they will come out with a Z06 right for 2015? I think that GM could definitely do another year without introducing a Z06. Just what I would do if it were up to me...
It seems like the only section where it is seriously lagging is on the stopping distance and lateral acceleration. Nothing that extra 20 mm of tire in the front and extra 40 mm in the back of good tire can't fix )
Chevy's website claims 3.7 sec 0-60. Still seriously impressive that the Stingray will be pulling those numbers starting at mid $50K's

Just basing my comment (hope) that since the C6 came out as 2005 MY car, and the C6 Z06 just one year later as a 2006 MY, that they will repeat this pattern for the C7 -- revealing the C7 Z06 (or whatever it is called) next January at the Detroit Auto Show and starting sales next August/September.
2011 Corvette Z06 - Felt the most nimble and "light" if you know what I mean
2012 Corvette GS - Pretender. I had a vert and although it was beautiful it did not stack up to the others
2012 ZR1 - Fast and did things well. Still the best band for 100k
2014 Stingray - Pure Awesome. Best looking, Best Ride, Best all around feel - The ZR1 vs Stingray to me is a toss up. If I had 570 to 600 rwhp in the Stingray it would be the hands down winner
.....but guess you knew that
