    it sounds glorious!

I'm not sure what the future holds but I think I'll try to make sure my future includes that!

Please please I beg of any of you that get this car, take it to the track and don't make it some sad status symbol that never has it's throttle pressed in anger.

Yes, it does sound marvelous, doesn't it?

Looking at those pics again, I realized there are two different cars, with two different rear wings, a low one and a high one. Will be interesting to see how that pans out in production. Are they interchangeable? Is there a street version and a race version? We'll see soon enough.

And I further beg that everyone who buys this model but does not have track experience far beyond "enthusiastic parade laps", please first go to track school/HPDE to learn how to handle its 750 HP!

Agree. Should be a requirement of some type.

As for the 2014-2017 C7's, GM will pay down $2,500 of the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch track school, to a net of $1,000, for all new 2018 buyers (not just for ZR1 buyers, but for all 2018 C7 buyers).

And maybe, we do not yet know, GM would pay the entire cost of SMMR for all ZR1 buyers -- as it did for its C6 ZR1 buyers???
