Song in media player keeps repeating over & over

I looked in the manual with no luck. The song playing in media repeates. I went into DIC and changed songs and it just plays that song over & over unless I manualy change to another song which plays over and over. How does this happen & how can I make it play 1 song after another like it did yesterday?

Check to see that you haven't inadvertently turned on the 'repeat' function on your DIC.

OK, thanks to Jeremy asking me for further detail on the 'repeat' function, I need to clarify my earlier post #2. There is no 'repeat' button, however a song will continue to repeat over and over if the following conditions are met:
-you have the Shuffle function turned OFF
-you select a specific song from your media

So, to avoid this, either select Shuffle ON and/or select an album or genre and you should not end up having one song repeat over and over.

It wasn't working so I hit the talk button and told it to "play song, she's got legs", I guess it just wanted to hear some ZZ Top because now it works fine. Shuffle was ON. Thanks for the help.

I had the same experience you did and can be very frustrating when driving. I found that by selecting "browse", then "songs", you can then hit the favorites button on the steering wheel and it will allow you to select up and down for a different song - just tried it and works beautifully.

When you say "hit the favorites button on the steering wheel" are you refering to the levers on the lower left? When ever I try them it goes to a radio station. I would like to know what I did wrong to have it play a song over and over.

I do mean the lower left of the wheel but I’m surprised it takes you to radio favorites if you are listening to media. It should just run up or down your media play list.

Look at post # 3 bottom picture. When I push the levers it would go to 96.3. When I try to scroll the station list down I can't get it to dissapear.

I just went out and tried it again, you need to press the browse, then select songs, then select any song or the one you want, and after completing those three steps it allows you to select the next song from using the fav buttons on the lower left of the steering wheel. If that doesn't work I would see if the dealer can help - hope this helps. Also, I can only get my station list to go down to one lever as well.
