It has nothing to do with computer skills- it is how you took the picture. Please review our suggestions for posting images https://www.stingrayforums.com/forum...html#post29746. Our software will automatically put an image so that the long side is horizontal and short side is vertical. To get an image to post directly without that issue, hold your phone or camera, so that the image is in 'landscape' not 'portrait.' Landscape means that the long part of your image when you shoot it, is parallel to the horizon. Hope this helps.

I for one think you should be looking at a better software vendor to show photos upright no matter how one takes them with the camera. Sometimes it is difficult to always use landscape and you just have to shoot whatever way the camera is tilted. Surely the software vendor should be able to at least add a Rotate function to the picture posting process; seems like almost every program or app related to photos has this. As you note in the referenced link, this forum's software is different from that of other websites to require this landscape-only orientation. In other words, other websites don't have this problem; only the Stingray Forums does. That certifiably matches my experience. Why can't this forum solve this problem? --Bob

Thanks Jeff-- I understand the volunteer part of being a mod, and sympathize with the probably incredible amount of grief you regularly get for the privilege, but would it be possible to pass along my humble request to the Admin and owners for this feature that every other forum seems to have? --Bob

Ha Ha--If I put that on my Z a casual observer of me getting out would conclude the plate was referring to me, not the car!--Bob

I just got a new plate. My grandson saw me coming down the street toward his house during dusk and exclaimed it looked like a UFO coming at him.
