    No oil temp reading

I need some help: I am getting no oil temperature reading -- oil pressure is fine but the temp needle says pegged at the bottom. Everything else seems fine.

Is that dangerous or can I drive it to the shop? It's about a 30 minute drive to the dealer.

    Any help is appreciated.

Are you using the oil temp pocket gauge?

You might try going into the Performance information through the main driver information settings (using the steering wheel rocker switch) and see what the oil temperature gauge shows there, if you have not tried that yet.

I would imagine the issue is with the oil temp sensor, not the oil itself. As long as you have the proper level and pressure, I'd drive it to the dealer.

airdale182, I would say the oil temperature sensor has went south, but it still needs to be inspected to find the cause. Hope that you get it squared away ASAP!!
