I know, it's not a C7 but I'm reaching out anywhere I can for some EXPERT advice and help.
Car - New 2013 Corvette Grand Sport
Color - Torch Red
Issues - Micro Scratches over entire clear coat. Why? Because I allowed a local body shop to touch the Vette.
Looking for a REAL EXPERT person/shop who can "fix", not cover up the micro scratches in the 'hard' Corvette clear coat.
Would like/want to get the car back to the original showroom finish as it was before.
Live in Wilmington, NC but will drive a reasonable distance (100 miles?) to a place that has had SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE with "hard' Corvette clear coats and fixing (leveling out) micro scratches.
Because of neck injuries, I just can't do the work myself.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. PM or email me.
Thanks, Joe

Hey Joe, you're in luck, as there are a few very high quality detailers in North Carolina, though all of them appear to be a bit of a hike from your location. They are:

Absolute Perfection Auto Detailing
Jon McInnis, Owner
311-A East Ash St.
Goldsboro, NC 27530
(919) 394-5788
Absolute Perfection Auto Detailing - Goldsboro, NC

Waxhaw, NC 28173
Streamline Auto Care

Detail Dave
Dave Eller, Owner
(704) 905-9997
Charlotte, NC
Detail Dave

CMC Detailing
Mike Napoli, Owner
704-607-3816

I would personally trust any one of those guys to take care of whatever your car needs; each of them does top-notch work. Good luck!

Hey Joe,

I can second Charlies' post. All of the above guys do great work. I believe Mike Napoli and Dave Eller just won Platinum Concours award at the Cavilinno Classic this last weekend with a Ferrari they worked on together. You will be in very good hands.

Thanks for all the help. All those place are a 3 to 4 hour drive for me which would make it a two day trip. Decided to purchase Meguiare's M-205 polish and tried a couple of small spots by hand. Seems to have worked. Next step is to purchase a DA buffer, 2.0 Orange pads and start out real slow and easy. 1' x 1' at a time. Keep checking areas in the sun to see how well it comes out. My neck is gonna hate me.
