The days when car stylists came up with a completed design and handed it off to engineers to work out the production details are long gone. To integrate new technologies, meet performance targets and comply with government regulations, today’s designers must work in close collaboration with engineers. According to Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter, this was very much the case with the development of the 2014 Corvette Stingray.
