I think the new PDR will be great for recording scenic drives and Cruise Ins and lots of other non racing stuff.
Even if you're not into racing I think it's an option well worth considering

By the way I was told that if your car is in valet mode and say you give it to a parking lot attendant and he decides to take if for a test drive once it hits a certain RPM like at or close to red line the PDR will start to automatically record what's going on.

I just ordered my Sony 32GB Class 10 SD Card off Amazon for $17 bucks with 2-day shipping included with Prime. A dealer said it doesn't come with an SD card. Also learned it can auto record in Valet mode but not normally. Need to start it every time for normal use.

We are well into winter season up here. But in November, before all the ice and snow arrived, I recorded a 57 mile drive on local rural 2 lane roads, and uploaded it to the laptop. When I get antsy for April to come, I watch a few minutes.
