Plant Manager, Jeff Lamarche, said that the daily C7 production goal right now is 171 cars. They are working 10 hour shifts, 5 days a week, right now to accomplish this goal. He said that GM corporate's goal is 170 and his goal is 171 with the hopes of producing an extra 20 or so per month over GM's goal.

And they expect to produce 40,000+ Corvettes on an annualized basis! Note, however, that due to the 2015 model year ending much earlier (June 26, 2015), than the 2014 extended production year (ended on August 8th), it is possible that the total 2015 MY production could be closer to, or even less than the 37,288, 2014's made.

John is talking annualized sales, that crosses MY boundaries. The month to month, year to date and year over year sales figures ignore model year, they are entirely calendar driven. 40,000 C7's in calendar year 2015 is quite doable.
