I'm in SE Florida and have my 2016 C7 in for this problem. Roger Dean Chevy in Cape Coral THINKS a flush will cure the issue that has just started about a month ago. The car has just 22K miles on it. They want a bit over $900.00 to perform this flush with parts and labor. Has anyone recently had this done, and if so, what were you charged? Thanks for your replies. Bill

I had a shutter (slight) and a bit of a “gap” when I hit the accelerator until the torque tube ”caught”. The cost to repair was over $4,500. Now it sounds like your problem is a bit different, but it seems like any/all fixes related to the torque tube (driveshaft) anre ridiculously expensive. Just saying…

  1. I had the shudder problem when I owned my '15 Stingray. The triple flush/fill solved the problem. The dealer charged me $605 but that was 5 years ago.

I also had shudder issues with my 2016 C7.
Fixed it for $30 +- using 2 oz of Lubegard 19610 Instant Shudder Fixx and 10 oz of Lubegard 63010 Platinum Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant. This stuff works. Just pump it into your transmission.
I have never been a fan of chemical fixes.
My local Chevy dealer wanted $500+ for the 2X Mobile 1 flush.
After a few thousand miles the transmission has never shifted better.

My last reply indicated it took thousands of miles for the Shudder Fixx to work. Actually it fixed the shudder immediately and the transmission shifts great with no shudder after thousands of miles.

Bill Kahle, can I add just the fluids you used to each without draining some of the existing fluid?? I’ve had our 2015 Z51 flushed twice, one warranty and last year $500+ and it’s feeling like it’s starting to shudder again. Also when giving gas it seems to jump as it’s shifting gears. Before I try another $500 flush thought I’d try your fix. Also did you find the fluid in a fixed store or online??? Thanks!!! Not mechanical so sorry if it’s a dumb question.
