Well, decided to take the LT1 engine out, and build it the way GM should have done initially. Thought would get a thread going for those who have thought about it, but have refrained. Perhaps those in the throws of consideration can get value from my build, as I will documenting along the way....goods, and well, challenges too.

2-3 week process

Current build is stock LTI block, wih bolt-ons.
Novi 1500 centrifugal blower

605whp
575 torque

New Heart consists of
Engine Builder/Design Work - LPR Houston
416 Stroker
Novi 2200r centrifugal blower
Custom Spec Cam

Monster clutch
Above list remains the same..

I'm pushing 717 at the wheel but I have thought about it. Truthfully, I cant keep that much power on the ground now but if the LT1 lets go I would replace it with a 416 stroker. Let me know the results and drivability on that beast!

Need a little help, have a ecs blower, 10psi, lg motor sport long tubes and x pipe, and meth. Car ran great for a couple of weeks, now anything over 4000 rpm it seems to feel like it's losing fuel " sputtering " checked the meth pump, tuner shows its getting enough fuel, can't figure it out. However I have the best tuner trying to figure it out #dr. Phill.
