THIS IS NOT MY CAR (from one of the 2 tracking threads, also I saw another 4200!!

Let's Hope this is Not a GM Computer error or input error!

It has to make it into production sometime, but I have not seen anything to indicate GM is ready to sell that color yet.

I am in Carlisle. Spoke to GM area manager Chuck. Says manual trans cars will start shipping tomorrow. Apparently not A8 as he asked me specifically which trans I had ordered.

That is tomorrow as in Saturday!

That might have been a mistake to give out a 4200 code, so they are covering it up until they are ready to Announce!

I went back and looked at the last 2 days in both threads and all that I found was it listed again in 2 quotes after being posted, that must have been what I remember from late last night.

I'm 99% sure William had it right, he is very Exacting compared to the others!
However, it could have been actual input error or computer burp!

There could have been some being put on trucks yesterday and then coded 4200? When EXACTLY is the 4200 code entered, what EXACT Event??(& Please don't tell me "when it is shipped", you know that is Not what I'm after!)

1) C7 Put on truck
2) C7 Truck is out of the GM Gate
3) C7 is moved to a shipping prep area
4) C7 is Officially released by Factory for Shipping (Whatever that is) (A computer input?)

I think it was an honest mistake. I'm a bit surprised one of the CCC group didn't catch the mistake and retract it.. I feel bad for Myblu71.. he thinks his cars produced and shipped.

I'm hoping to see true 4200s soon.. I've been waiting since 8-11 and I'm ready to do a happy dance!!!!! Right now, I'm just depressed. I was planning on heading to BG for the Caravan on Wed, but it looks like that won't happen.

There was a Dealer in one of the threads referred to that said: He heard from GM that "they would be on the Road", Monday!

Woody, What is your current code direct from CCC & was it today? It appears that they are holding an "initial small" group at 3800 or Bayed - Held & many others built last week & this are getting movement beyond 3800 or Bayed. Some Invoices are getting to Dealers, another sure sign shipping is imminent! However, they cannot even it the 2015 Build site going nor the discount sites.

Talked to the paint shop director today at Carlisle. He had a gas cap that is the orange. He said the paint is in the shop but did not say if any were produced yet. I will try to ask him tomorrow for you guys.

What dealers have gotten invoices?? I've been watching both site pretty close and I have yet to see a confirmation of any dealer receiving an invoice.

Well there are just too many signs and situations coming out, this Next week is going to be the start of Shipping, probably by Monday maybe some trucks rolling this weekend if Not Already! Looks like things will be happening a week before 09/02. Note that Today is the Full "2 Weeks" of holds since the 1st completions on Friday 8/8, Coincidence? Maybe!
Can't tell yah(but it was today or yesterday, even VIN #10, said his dealer got his invoice, but no other info avail), I've been on so many threads so many hours the past week or two, I remember numbers, but Not Names. Hey, I'm Accountant!

My 2015 Z51 with A/8 Automatic still shows "shipped En Route" on the Chevrolet tracking site. It has shown this out of production level and en route for several days now. Hopefully, if this is correct, I could have it by the end of the month. We will see. Hopefully my Dealership has the invoice which would probably bare the truth of the issue.

I PM'ed him this afternoon to get his info(Name, Rank & Serial No. ), but have not heard back yet. He's probably Drunk by now!
They could have used his as/in a sample of actual DSOM orders, I guess. If it didn't work out they would "scrap it" and build him another. After his last digit on his VIN could have an (a) or (b). It would be awful shame(on GM) Now if he does not get his car for another month or so, he was really excited, checkout his next post!

Wow, you are close to the Plant(1:37 h 94.78 mi) and I thought I was fairly close(~270mi) why don't you go over there and spy for us. You know, binocs, camera with a Huge Zoom, looking thru the fence, renting a Helicopter. That brings up something, is the Airspace above the Plant/Lot Restricted? If not there are a lot of Pilots on these forums and we could very quickly raise a fund for an exploratory expedition.
