Hi all!

I've had my LS3 Camaro SS/RS since the beginning of 2011. This was my first new car and I still love it. But wow, the new Stingray is amazing. I need to do the math to see if I can afford it first off. The wife and I are DINKs and I got a decent raise recently, plus she said it was Ok. =)
I just need to find the trim levels. I'm sure the 1LT will be good enough for me.

I've been the market for a new/used car for over a year. Never thought I could afford a corvette, so I did not consider it, even though I secretly have wanted a corvette since I was a teenager. Then, one fateful night this past Spring, a business associate let me drive his 'Vette...I was hooked. But he told me I should wait on the 2014, to go home and google it. So I did and I realized I HAD to have one. My order is in...can't wait. Best wishes on whatever you decide!

I really want the stingray, Laguna blue, black interior.

I'm considering a few issues...
1. This corvette will be my daily driver, not garaged. Same as my Camaro. Adam's Polishes keeps her pretty.

2. No back seat. I've only used my Camaro's back seat a few times, but it was great on those occasions.

3. $600/m payment. I can afford it, not sure I want to.

But I'm becoming obsessed with this car. :)

Hemlawk, Welcome aboard, you won't be disappointed not one bit if you decide to get a C7. This is my second Vette, first one was a 2006 C6 and it was like a rocket to me. When I drove my C7, I thought man this is like the Space Shuttle, there is nothing out there that can match it!!

Hemlawk,

I had a 5th gen Camaro for 6 months and decided to change to the C7 Stringray. It was the best decision that I ever made! :D

I really love this car and look forward to driving it everyday. What's crazy is that I actually get better MPG with the Stingray.

I have a 2011 Camaro SS with a procharger and suspension upgrades and my C7...there is no comparison....the fit, finish and handling are far superior on the C7.....Camaro is large, heavy and just not the same experience as the C7.

Hey guys.

Your guess was right, I didn't get a C7. How ever I would love to have this awesome car, it's just not practical as a daily driver living in NJ. This past winter kicked my ass in the Camaro. I wanted something nice, awd and has some power. So I traded in the Camaro for an '14 Audi S4. I'm very pleased with my decision. Maybe in a few years/decades when I have more disposable income, I'll own a Stingray.
