Congrats!!!
I got a great deal from Kerbeck also same deal and the same car only my baby is Red on Red. I couldn't wait for the 10 day delivery my husband caught a flight to Philadelphia and a driver from Kerbeck picked him up. He enjoyed his 13 hour trip to Georgia.
Thanks first to the Stingray Forum for being a Great source of information and (jsvette) for leading me in the right direction. Also my GREAT salesman RONALD MICHAEL.

Another happy californian who went to Kerbecks and paid $6,000. Under m.s.r.p. instead of staying local and paying $5,000. Over msrp... just locked in a 2015 arctic white/adrenaline red coupe, ZF1, perf exhaust, chrome wheels, red calip. And navig. Should be here in about 10 days, oh the agony... :)
So did you really get the car 10 days after you bought it? Most of us have to wait months......or did you pay private carrier to ship it to you?

Good going, copperjohnc. Just keep an eye on those weather reports. Some bad weather can come up this time of year.

That's the same deal we got from MacMulkin. I think technically we're paying about $6200 under. When we told our local dealer that we were canceling our order with them, they actually tried to tell us that selling a Stingray for that much under msrp was "illegal". I'm not kidding. They were serious. Ed Bozarth in Las Vegas BTW, for anybody who's wondering, they were also tacking on an extra $5k fee for no reason.

Our Stingray has been built and shipped, just waiting for it to arrive.

And folks complain about allocation. Looks like its working good if copperjohnc and 2015Z51 are correct.

I think its all about the transportation west. Why no greater competition for the C7 there?
I'll hazard a guess: most dealers out here play 'tough' and apparently enough people give in. It is possible to purchase your C7 without paying the premium or 'market' adjustment, I've done it and helped others do it here as well.

Same experience for me. I flat out told them I will order this car from you if you can match the deal I am being offered at several other dealerships out of state. They flat out told me to pound sand. I kind of felt bad for the salesmen, they were nice guys stuck between a rock and a hard place. They want the sale, I'd love to buy locally, but they had absolutely no ability to come anywhere near the deal I will be receiving. To make matters worse the dealership is delusional in thinking that there is a market climate that demands a "market adjustment" fee. I've seen this range from $5000-$10,000 as recently as 2 days ago. That is an absolutely ludicrous fee to charge for a vehicle that really isn't difficult to procure at this time.

I've posted a while ago about another local dealer that had a convertible sitting on their lot for MONTHS. MSRP is in the ballpark of 79K. They had it priced at $99K but claim they are offering a 10K discount to offer it at $89K! Thanks for the 10K market adjustment!

I think the dealers in this town are completely out of touch with reality, which is why they will not be getting my business.

Lucky guys !!!! Over here no way to obtain only a simple buck discount !
When I signed my order at the dealer, it was just hilarious to see how it was difficult for him to offer 2 simple pins (6-7 $ piece in USA!!)
We have a big problem of poor allocations and the dealers are in a too good position to discuss any price with them, at least if we want a car as we like it...

Buying from dealer stock from one of the big east coast dealers is a great way to save some money if you're lucky enough to find exactly what you want. To get exactly what I wanted I had to order mine and with some helpful advice from jsvette, I was able to get my local dealer to drop the additional markup and throw in free window tinting and upgraded mats. That may not sound like much, but for Vegas it's pretty amazing.

I know I'm one of the odd balls when it comes to this, but I actually put a $$ value on buying from the dealership where I'm going to have the car serviced. A case in point, though the 9 week ordering process I became friends with my salesperson. I also got to know the customer service manager. I know that if I ever have a problem related to getting the car serviced, I have 2 people I can call who will help make it right. Anyway, to each to their own on what they find important on a car purchase and I'm happy to see that most people on this forum are finding their version of a great deal. I know I wouldn't have had my version of a great deal if it wasn't for the vast amount of info provided here. Happy Motoring!!
