I have a 65 corvette. My ignition switch needed to be changed.
The mechanic changed it with a universal switch. The motor starts
but my wipers and turning signals don't work.
My mechanic thinks that the universal switch is missing something (I think he
said it's a three way switch instead of a four way switch ).
Here are my questions:
1 ) Is there a universal switch that works well ?
2 ) Is it true that the 65 corvette ignition switch is the same as the 65 Impalla and 65 Chevelle ?
3) I have read that another solution would be to buy a 66 or 67 switch and change the door keys ?

If you don’t have any luck you
might try MidAmericaMotorWorks
they specialize in older corvettes.
They may be able to help you out.
