Unable to yet confirm whether this 712 unit StingRay recall includes the previous 33 recalled StingRays. Both however, are consistent with each other. We will not know specific vehicles (VIN's) for a while however, but at least 29,000 StingRay owners with standard GT seats can rest easy.

From The Detroit News: GM recalls 3.4M cars for ignition switch problems | The Detroit Newsdetnews said:712 2014 Chevrolet Corvettes with optional Competition Sport Seats, because an unbelted child and door trim may block the passenger seat side air bag vent. Dealers will replace the bag. GM is unaware of any injuries related to this condition, but advises customers to not allow small children in the front seat until it’s serviced.
