Age is just a number and over the last 36+ yrs of selling Corvettes I have witnessed folks of all ages from 17-93 buy Corvettes! Paul B of Prescott Valley, AZ (and Datil, NM) got referred to me by Chip and Jan from the Prescott Corvette Club. I had his factory ordered Crystal Red Z51 cpe drop shipped in to AZ and this week he took delivery. He ordered Mag ride and the new 8spd Auto trans with 3LT pkg.

Chip and Jan have a beautiful Shark Gray coming their way as well! Thank you for the referral!

~Last yr Harold of Falls Church, VA ordered a 2014 Stingray Z51 cpe in Black/Black and 7spd...drove it 1,984 miles and said he had such a great experience that he wanted to do it again...so 6 weeks ago he ordered a 2015 Z51 cpe with the 5YU Chrome wheels being the only difference. Yesterday was trade day and Harold could not have been happier.

~Next up was Randy from right here in Gaithersburg, MD. Randy viewed our inventory in person and honed in on this iconic Arctic White Convt with Red interior and Black Top 3LT. Loaded with Mag ride, 8spd auto, Carbon Flash hood stripe, Red calipers, Chrome wheels and much more. He said it's his favorite Corvette yet!!

~and here is a Torch Red Convt waiting for delivery today to a nice couple from Lyndhurst, NJ.

Got to get to work and make sure it gets cleaned properly. Save the Wave.

Paul does not look 85! Maybe his smile next to the Stingray is taking off some years?

I am pretty sure its because he drives Corvettes and that is what keeps him young

I had a good friend who passed away a few years ago at age 90. Fortunately, his final illness was brief. While he did not own a Corvette, he was about the most aggressive driver I knew. He was always getting warnings for being over the limit. Never an accident, though. Every week, he would climb narrow stairs and a ladder to wind the tower clock in his church, which involved winching up a big basket full of rocks with a windlass.

The reason I say all of this is that Paul could be my friend's twin.

I knew a really nice old guy who was born in the same valley in which I grew up. He was born there about 60 years before I was. He passed away a few years ago.

Oh, my! Did he ever have a lead foot! That man's average speed on a trip was probably higher than anyone else I know. I recall hearing stories from a third party about when he was once pulled over. Supposedly he gave the police a hard time saying, "Boy, I was a grown man driving while you were still crawling around in diapers!"

He was a funny old guy. I miss him.
