What do you think of a Hybrid Corvette?

I have been reading that the brass at GM is not dismissing the idea of a hybrid Corvette. President Mike Ruess seems to be hinting at the idea that hybrid power could make it into the Corvette. Seems to me that they are trying to chase the fad-tastic power plant. But hey, Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren, and the bankrupt Fisker have all given it a go.

Chime in to tell us what you think. Maybe GM is listening.

Since my C7 is about to be built I doubt that a hybrid C7 is in my future. With the 4 cylinder ECO on it already we are almost driving a hybrid  Before my XTS came out they also advertised it would be a hybrid. Then one week before the debut at the LA Auto Show they pulled all mention of the hybrid drive train and acted as if it was never considered when questioned. Time will tell, but if they come up with a C7 like the hybrid Porsche 918 that would be something...of course it costs just a tad more :D
