It is amazing how complicated it is to sort through all the possibilities. I guess a degree in "Rocket Propulsion" is not needed, but I bet it would not hurt either. ;)
Maybe I'm dense, but as an example- black wheels (ZR1) $495. Can you get them without ZR1?
How important are auto dimming mirrors? I've had them standard in cars for so long I don't remember what it's like not to have them, and having to pay for them sucks.
I agree 100%. I have a 50th AE that has all the bells and whistles, HUD, lumbar support, memory, and so forth. Now, I need the 2LT pkg @ $4,210 to get these.

I hope when I'm ready to place my order, which won't be for the 2014, some of the extras might be standard. But who know, things might go the other way around.

For all that's included in the 2LT I don't think it's a bad price, but I do think the 3LT is way over priced for what's included.

They come in very handy at night especially when some one is up behind you. I won't want to drive a car at night without the function.

There are only two seats: Standard ($0) GT seats and optional Competition Seats ($1,995 or $2,495 with suede inserts). GM cautions that since the cushions are much firmer on the comp seat and the side and shoulder bolster constraints are more confining in the comp seas, that you sit in a comp seat before ordering it.

Ah, cool- I prefer the touring (GT) seats. Glad they're the zero dollar option. Thanks.
The touring seat felt fantastic when I tried them out at Laguna Seca. Very nice hold and quite comfortable as well. Lots of adjustment options built in, more with the 2L and 3L levels.

That's good to hear. I like the looks of the seat but if they don't cut it then what's the use. You bring up the trim packages- that's another thing to consider- the 2LT trim option vs. what I originally planned on getting, that being the base 1LT. You get a lot in the package but with my '03 AE I've taken all those bells and whistles for granted. Now they'll cost $4,210.
