The cover is for real and each C7 ships with one that is to be provided to the buyer. Individuals who pick their C7 up at the Museum will also be given the same cover. Note, these are shipping covers, not similar to the type of cover you might purchase as an indoor or outside protection cover.Another accessory question....
I've seen photos of C7s being shipped with car covers. Also recall a member stating that the cover is a freebie. Does anyone know if this is for real and all C7s will be shipped with cover?
I would think you could use it as an interior cover, but it will probably not be as easy to put on and take off as a cover designed specifically for that purpose. Can't help you with a detailer near Ormond Beach Florida-I am in Vegas. Hopefully some others from Florida can give you some suggestions. I think you have a good question regarding how best to protect your car from the salt water and would encourage you to start a new thread about suggestions for ways to protect your car. Thanks jsvette. Does that mean that it shouldn't be used as an interior cover? I live about a block from the ocean and wondering how to best protect the car from salt air. Also need to find a top-notch detailer in my area...at least for a while.
Thanks for that info. But do they perform as an indoor or outdoor car cover would? The cover is for real ... Note, these are shipping covers, not similar to the type of cover you might purchase as an indoor or outside protection cover.![]()
Really won't know until I pick mine up. They did not have any of them at the 60th anniversary reunion in Laguna Seca. Thanks for that info. But do they perform as an indoor or outdoor car cover would?

Yes it is real and also has been confirmed regarding Museum deliveries.
Not in my opinion. I do not believe these covers are made to be reused. They are intended to protect outdoors during initial transport and can be pretty dirty when the trip is complete to the dealer. Do yourself a favor and get a cover that is form fitting and is purpose built for indoor use. I just purchased the RPI color coordinated stretch cover at the Carlisle show. Nice material, nice craftsmanship. There are many others out there. Thanks for that info. But do they perform as an indoor or outdoor car cover would?
