My side rockers from ACS showed up today - was excited to get started on the install, but have run into a delay. Unlike their instructions online which said it came with U-Nuts and mounting screws, it came with large flange rivets instead.

They are 3/16" rivets (see picture below). Anyone have a recommendation for the correct/best tool to use to install these? Any online links to the proper tool would be appreciated!!

I don't have any experience with rivets, but I'm thinking that can't be that hard to install, right?

I know some have suggested that 3M adhesive will also work, but would pref to go with the bolt-on method.

Pop rivet tool. You can pick one up at any hardware or auto parts store.

Are the rivets metal or plastic?

The downside to the rivets is if for some reason you need to remove the rocker, you will have to drill them all out to remove it.
