So as I drive around and spot other Corvettes, I notice most of the owners appear to be older than say a Camaro or other sport car owner. This got me thinking about what the average age of the owners on here. (This is just my general observation in my area.)
So if you want, post your age and later I will figure out the average.

I'll start with my Age: 67

Blessed to be coming up on 64 after a cancer diagnosis in 2015. Purchased my first Corvette around the early 80's ( early 30's) but it went away after getting married. Raising a family and keeping a new wife happy took precedence over the fun factor of a Corvette. Bought my current C7 in retirement after surviving the initial health battle and adopting a new life motto, " If not now when?". Kids are well adjusted and raising their own families and wife is as happy as she is going to be so i tend to not hold back as much anymore on my wants.

This past February I became eligible to be a UFO......which stands for United Flying Octogenarians.
That means you have been a Pilot in Command of an aircraft after reaching the ripe old age of 80.

Sorry guys, I just increased the average age!!!

Jack, 80 years young. Flying, boating, playing baseball and of course driving all over the country in your Grand Sport. Maybe you'll slow down a bit when you hit 90. :eek:nthego:

Not the "Old Fart" anymore. I'm on the down hill run to 74(next June). Bought my first one a 2015 Shark Gray Metallic Stingray. Went to AL last Feb and stop at the NCM in Bowling Green on the way down from WI. Big mistake. Saw the 2017 Grand Sport and a new for 2017 color (Black Rose). By the time I got home to WI in March I had my Corvette salesman working on pricing for me. Now so you don"t think I have one just to drive locally on nice days, the 2015 Stingray when traded in had 22,000+ miles on it and had been from on the track at Watkins Glen, NY to a 5000 mile trip down Route 66 as far as Winslow, AZ before turning for home via Colorado Spings and the Air Force Academy to Rocky Mountain National Park to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument in SD, across ND, MN and back home to WI. Yup, mark me dow for 73. "NeverTrust An Old Man With A Corvette".

Just turned 70! Also blessed to be driving one of these awesome cars. Stage 3 cancer 11 years ago. No recurrence and feeling like a young pup every time I get in that C7 :tears_of_joy:

Maybe the next thread should be how old were you when you first bought a corvette then? I was 44.

I'm 69. Bought it when I was 67. I can't ever imagine not having a Corvette ever again. Hope I can still get in and out when I'm in my 90s.
