First off I'll like to thank this community. Lots of information I found out reading here. I learn a lot here and thank you.
At age of 10 I played a game called Gran turismo for ps1 it was a racing game. That's where I first saw a corvette and immediately fell in love with the car. As I grew up and saw the c5 and c6 I said to myself I'll get c6 zo6. I knew what it had to take to get that car. Worked hard and got the important things first out of the way. Work, school, etc. I was so close to get the zo6, but then I saw the stingray and i change my mind. Now at the age of 22 I'm a proud owner of 2015 z51 stingray artic white.

Looking good Dave. The real thrill is when the "500 mile break-in" period is over. Then, be cool, drive safely (sometimes), and wave to the rest of us.

I looked maybe 4 times trying to find a reference to Mac Haik. Until I looked at the 1st photo . . . . That picture was taken looking out onto the Katy Freeway. Nice call "Steve578"

Good for you! It is worth it, enjoy it responsibly.

When I was your age a long time ago, as a snot nose upstart, I had my '65 Sting Ray, I thought I was hot sh!t, but, it was just another car to me, a form of transportation. I didn't take care of it, I basically drove it into the ground. As I got older with a family, responsibilities, etc., my priorities changed, and started to take care of things better, because it costs money to repair, of which I had very little.

As the years have gone by now, I'm always kicking myself in the ass for not at least taking care of that '65, and not knowing the value of the car would bring in the future, I wish I had it now.

Now, I am border-line anal about any vehicle I own, occasionally I will holler to those around the C7......"don't touch the car"......:D
