I've been a member on the other site for a little over 10 years now but have found myself coming here to reference some information more and more often, so I figured I should register and join in the conversations. I've owned two Corvettes in the past and recently sold my C6 and ordered a C7. I had a 2004 C5 coupe, Machine Silver + MN6 with 1sb package and a 2011 Grand Sport coupe, Blade Silver with MN6, F55, 3LT, NPP -- pretty much fully loaded.

Taking a break from silver, I decided to stick with a light color on my new C7 that I have configured and sitting at 1100 due to constraints and dealer backlog (Boardwalk):

Arctic White Coupe
7 Speed Manual
Z51 2LT
Black Leather with Micro Suede inserts
Competition Seats
Silver wheels
MSRC
NPP
Nav
FAY
Exposed Carbon + Transparent Roof.
Red Calipers

Looking forward to talking with more people that like the new C7 as much as I do. I have to be honest though, waiting is killing me and I've only been waiting a little over a month.

I talked to the Boardwalk guys last week, and they said that it would be about three months from placing an order until the TPW. Then you have to include shipping time after that.

Also, as you pointed out, constraints must be factored in...

Good points, e.g. willingness to wait, dealer allocation and chosen options. Hope all who are in the "ordering que" or are about to order, have read the following thread.

I'll be out to Belmont next week to celebrate the holidays with my family. Hang in there; "save the wave" for that car that you want - it will come. Constraints are starting to loosen up, and I'm hopeful for you that the car of your dreams is coming down the line! I've been at 1100 since August, and have reason to believe that it's going to get produced in Feb after the shutdown. I wanted FAY as well, and then with the constraints, found that I could put that money toward other things and got rid of the constraint complication. Still have to deal with Z51, but they're in the pipeline and will be available - not letting loose of that one.
