GM said it would go 0-60 in 3.8 second, do a 12.0 second quarter @ 119, but when media analyst after media analyst failed to reach any of those numbers, I wondered whether the media analysts couldn't drive, or whether GM was a tad optimistic. Since then Motortrend ran a 0-60 in 3.7 and when "Snorman" ran an unmodified C7 in 11.67 (related thread), I had my answer. Technically, it was neither, for in the hands a capable driver, the StingRay can hit, or better all those numbers.

Here's more corroboration that GM numbers were "about right," a time slip to confirm that. This is a real time slip and if in doubt, PM me and I will provide more details.

Was this in a PTM mode such as Race or just Traction control off?

I have seem to gotten my best times with just traction control off. The Race mode seems to kill power when I spin even on shifts. Traction has been an issues.
