Looking at the intakes on the Coupe i wonder if people are sucking in dry leaves and debris especially into the Differential fan on the right side on the Z51s. Seems like an issue waiting to happen with no way to clean the vent out.
I had wondered the same thing. Most Corvettes are garage kept, which would reduce the likelihood of debris becoming lodged. Prevention would seem, as usual to be the best medicine. The rear bumper can be removed if necessary, to access the fan, and duct work. What if you routed an LP hose with open nozzle down the duct to blow junk out?
