Cars been sitting for couple months or more. Battery (1yr old) is completely dead which is too much for a Tender. Is the best place to hook up a full size charger directly to the battery or is there charging posts by the engine ? Car is currently on a lift 4ft up with a cover on it. So I'm being lazy and asking instead of going through the process of looking under hood :D

The safest approach is to connect the full size charger positive to the battery terminal (in the trunk) and negative to a body ground. If your one year old battery is wet lead acid, you probably want to partially (allow for expansion/boiling) top up the cells first. If you can revive the battery a CTEK will be able to do a desulfation as it brings it's charge back up to norm.

It is not recommended to try and jump or charge from the engine compartment.
