I just saw a post here on the C7 Spec Sheet. It states the Black Wheels are only available with the Z51 package. Is it me or is that NUTZ? What the heck does Black wheels have to a performance package???

I want the black wheels but not really interested in the Z51 Performance Package!

I plan on ordering a black coupe with black interior and black wheels. If the only way I can get black wheels is with the Z51 package, then a Z51 it will be. Of course, other options (like ordering HRE wheels) might suffice for those not wanting the Z51.

I don't know what the Z51 package will cost but it might be cheaper to get aftermarket Black wheels later.

easiest and cheapest way is to get regular wheels and have them powder coated black. Have a SS Camaro and thats what we did for about $100 per wheel,Jim Maguire

I just ordered my C7 on Thursday April 18th. and also was sad to find that I could not have these Black Wheels with my Crystal Red Tintcoat C7. I do not want the ZR1 package and WE as Corvette owners should have the other options without haveing to spend the extra $$ just to get the Black Wheels. LP54vet

I ordered my C7 Coupe with standard silver. Found this company locally to do black powder coat after market. I emailed him last night and should have an idea of pricing for it today C5, C6, Z06 Corvette Parts and 2010 Camaro Parts - LG Motorsports I'll give everyone an idea. He seems to be the best in our area and well known by the Corvette Clubs here in Dallas. If you can't find someone nearby, you may want to consider him?

FYI - Received an email back from LG Motorsports regarding my standard silver wheels. " Typically to strip them and re-coat them you would be roughly $550 + tire dismount and remount".

I had to have black wheels. I went black on black. Had to get z51 package in order to do this, but its worth it in the long run I think.

I got the black wheels and the Z51 package. Remember the Z51 package also gives you larger wheels and tired. 19 front and 20" rear as opposed to 18" front and 19" rears. Z51 package is well worth the money but if you dont want it best bet is to hit the aftermarket as there are tons of black wheels available.

I ordered and it is on my tracking sheet...the Black Aluminum 19 and 20 wheel package on my 2LT non-Z car..no problem

My research netted the same results. At this time, you can only order black wheels on a Z-51 as a $495. option. Too bad, love the black wheels but don't want a Z-51. Hope GM is listening.

MANY people have powdercoated the non z51 wheels black for about 500...very easy to do - see wareagle's car here....
