Blurry Head Up Display?

Hello everyone. I noticed that my HUD is blurry. As I move it on my windshield using the HUD button a portion of the display will be in focus but the upper and lower portions have ghosting. I've checked my windshield to make sure it is a HUD windshield, and it is. I've cleaned the inside / outside of the windshield and the HUD display itself and it looks the same.

This is my first HUD equipped car and is this just a normal limitation of the technology? I can post some pictures later if that would help. Thanks!

Jesse, do you know if the original windshield was ever replaced?

I don't believe so I bought it new with 5 miles on the Odometer and it now has 650.

Will do. When you move yours up and down does it go in and out of focus, or does it stay sharp the whole time?

It stays sharp but part of the image goes out of view in the max positions.

Did you try cleaning the HUD screen on the dash?

I did. I'm assuming by these comments your guy's huds are sharp? I also tried to see if there was a plastic covering like you see on electronic devices, on the HUD but it didn't look like there was.

Someone probably wiped the lens with a paper towel or something and scratched it. Go back to the dealer who prepped it

Have had HUD in my C6 for 5 years and my C7 for what will be 3 years in October. All of the display is shape. I'd bring it the dealer.
