I was admiring how well the body components matched up and then I got to the passenger door and I found this.
The drivers door has a little mis-aleignment but the passenger door is pretty bad.
Sent this picture and others to sales rep. This will have to be fixed.
do some searching - it's in your manul too... it is supposed to be that way...
The front top of the rocker molding is designed to be outboard of the bottom of the front lower door by approximately 13 mm. This is a design feature and does not require adjustment.
Glen I see what you are refering to but that is not the bottom of the door. In that picture you are looking strait down and cannot see the area I am refering to. I'm talking about the area by the sill plate.
Shooting down as that picture actually shadows what my picture shows. The door is recessed into the body 5/16" at the bottom front corner. The drivers door measure 5/32" and doesn't leave a visible gap as seen in the picture.
pics are not going to do much - too much parallax ...it's a eyes on thing you'll have to do...I think your first thought is a good one, go to the dealer and see if he has other cars (he will soon) and compare in person...
I've heard back from my sales rep. and he told me that they will have to rehang the door. He also told me they have another car in the showroom with the same condition. He's waiting to hear back from the area rep and will contact me later today.
