Folks, I am 72 and want to purchase my first Vette. How do I build a 2015 coupe and understand and see the options offered? I do not want any custom work, however, if there are several top options for instance I would like to see them and understand the plusses and minuses. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you,

Gary

Hey Gary,

Unfortunately, the 2015 build site is not up and running at corvette.com yet (that is the website from General Motors for the Corvette). You could go there and play around with the 2014s, however, as that website is still up (although you can no longer factory-order a 2014). There are new options for 2015, but the 2014 is a good starting point.

After you do that and have more specific questions, come back and post them here.

Best wishes!

Gary (in addition to the recommendation of going to the GM Chevy web site and 'build' a 2014, reading the info on various options) you might want to look at the final numbers on what was ordered for the 2014 Stingray http://www.stingrayforums.com/forum/stingray-corvette-discussions/6103-2014-stingray-production-totals-37-288-a.html post #2. Then possibly do a search (using our search function) on the top options of interest to you to read what others have posted about them. Another thing I would recommend is go to a local Corvette function and see what the members have to say. Best of luck. It will really end up being a very personal decision based on what you are looking for in your first Stingray, though you will undoubtedly get a lot of varied suggestions from our diverse members.
