You guys will rarely find a poor review from me as even though I experience poor service all the time, I usually don't take the time to complain about it but this is a little different since my property is tied up and I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this BS.

I "attempted" to get the flat bottom steering wheel for my C7 and my CTS V that were advertised on here. Long story short, THREE months ago I sent a spare steering wheel for BOTH cars to the address given by a vendor here Andrew at thedoubleaa.com and I haven't even been able to get an update. From the email I was just copied on it looks as if this is getting back-doored through DS Vettes. After several messages sent to Andrew saying I was irritated and wanting to know what's going on and asking for updates, I'd expect someone to pick up the damn phone and get to the bottom of this but instead I was just copied on an email letting "Lino at DS Vettes" know I wanted my wheels back.

Now I am out $500 in steering wheels and can't even get a reply. I'm more than pissed off at this point as they've not only wasted my money but also my time as this was something I'd planned to have for my summer shows. I'm trying to get my parts back at this point and am not getting any answers.

So not only do I have to start over, but it looks like I might have to buy 2 more wheels!

BUYER BEWARE!!!

That is very strange because the guys over at doubleaa.com are awesome and have always delivered as promised for me. They make some really cool aftermarket parts for many cars and the installation has always been spot on. Andrew is always willing to help out and even donates to our local car clubs. Not sure what the issue was WeaponX, but I have only GOOD things to say about doubleaa.com and I think they go above and beyond to help out.

Just going on record that pinning a one sided argument without hearing the other side is unfair to some of the parties involved....like so many things, the accusation will make page one and the outcome will make page 6....

I'm SO glad you went on record on this lol... thanks!

Update: I finally received an email back this morning saying my wheels would be returned to me today. We'll see when it happens.

FWIW, I have nothing to gain by this and have a policy stay out of public disputes, but they had my property and I grew tired of the lack of response and nonchalance. I've already wasted months with this. I was simply trying to get 2 products advertised here and open them up to a new market even with the CTS V world as I have a very large client base. When issues started arising, there was 0 proactivity taken. I'd expect a call to DSV to resolve the issue and an update given immediately when I voiced that I was upset. Instead, I got nothing after several weeks of inquiring. When I demanded to have my wheels returned last Thursday, I again heard nothing. I had to make this public to even get a response to get my property back.

Update: I've received my CTS V steering wheel back as of yesterday, but not my C7 steering wheel. DS Vettes emailed me last week asking if I had a manual or an auto and I explained that I'd purchased and sent them a brand new C7 auto wheel in all black leather, nothing special and that was what I wanted back. So, hopefully that will be showing up this week still so we can end this saga...

simply stating that all customers that paid to have their orders completed have received their wheels. Those who have not paid for their orders will be sent back their cores.

about that last part... I'm still waiting...
I spoke with DSV and they said that the wheel that was sent to them had the leather removed and formed for making a d - shaped wheel. Since no payment was made the wheel is still in that form. If you would like send me a pm with the cost of a new wheel from your dealer and we will refund that amount to you.

The "no payment" BS is not going to fly here... I made MULTIPLE inquiries as to the status of this and asking for the cost update on March 30th and I didn't hear anything back until I sent another email THREE WEEKS later and that was "I sent an email to check"... really?!

Additionally as you can see DSV had no clue what wheel was even mine, so I VERY much doubt the project was started at all. Here was the last correspondence 2 weeks ago... timeliness is obviously of no priority here:

The car is an auto. The wheel was brand new, drop shipped from Lindsay Cadillac. Please make sure I receive a new wheel back. It was all black leather, black stitching, no suede.

I would really think at this point, you two would finish the wheel and try to end this with a positive outcome/experience after wasting the past 3 months! If not, as you can see above where they can call and order another wheel, just like I did!

Per emails:
Read bottom first. From here you had pricing but never responded with how to go about payment. As per them not knowing about the wheels how would they you never made payment to get an order placed. Now if you would like let me know the cost of your wheel that you sent that was prepped to be made and we will refund that. Other than that I think everything else is done.

I thought they/you were interested in doing these as a sponsorship for advertising by a dealer?
