My wife and son flew today in the B-17's Navigator's Seat and the Bombardier's Seat. These planes are INCREDIBLE. We are so fortunate to be able to take pictures like these . Yes, this was/is the greatest generation. ATTACH=CONFIG]11434[/ATTACH] IMG_6839.JPG IMG_6843.JPG IMG_6846.JPG

That's pretty cool!

However, you should have painted your C7 a nice shade of OD Green.

Tim, great pictures!! I always like the paintings on the front of our fighters, good ole USA. Maybe we can put little car icons on the front quarter panel of the Vette for every performance car that gets its door blown off.

Many years ago (1968) I had a friend with a 68 who had on the side of his car, near the engine compartment vents, what looked at a distance to be a Yellow Ferrari prancing horse shield emblem. But when you looked at it closely, it was Snoopy as the Red Baron.

Unfortunately, a couple of years later, he lost control of the car on an icy road, and it was totaled.

My father was a tailgunner for the B-17 Flying Fortress. Flew 25 missions over Germany at age 17 and was shot down four times. Captured on his last mission and held POW for 15 months before escaping.
