Tim, great pictures!! I always like the paintings on the front of our fighters, good ole USA. Maybe we can put little car icons on the front quarter panel of the Vette for every performance car that gets its door blown off.

Many years ago (1968) I had a friend with a 68 who had on the side of his car, near the engine compartment vents, what looked at a distance to be a Yellow Ferrari prancing horse shield emblem. But when you looked at it closely, it was Snoopy as the Red Baron.

Unfortunately, a couple of years later, he lost control of the car on an icy road, and it was totaled.

My father was a tailgunner for the B-17 Flying Fortress. Flew 25 missions over Germany at age 17 and was shot down four times. Captured on his last mission and held POW for 15 months before escaping.
