Hello Everyone,

I bought my C7 automatic transmission last week. I am trying to get some feedback about gas mileage

1. What is average gas mileage on automatic transmission?
2. What Octane fuel required?
3. Any particular company gas ( Shell, Costco, etc )?

Please share your thoughts.

Well there will be a lot of difference on gas mileage. I easily get 27 mpg on an average trip between 65 and 70 on a flat surface( lots of that in Fl.). I have seen 30 on secondary roads at 60 mph. All depends.
For gas I use the highest price where ever I travel--brand doesn't seem to matter. I use Pilot, Racetrack type places when travelling. I watched a truck with Pilot logos on it fill up a Shell station across the road.
In town I sometimes use name brands and sometimes shop price.
Good luck--I like the auto especially if I have to go slow in traffic.
