While I was at Cars and Coffee today with RedHot, I talked with an instructor from Ron Fellows Performance Driving School (the one GM is using to train all C7 participating dealers). He was driving a brand new Z51 with performance seats and Michigan Dealer plates. He told me GM sends them 50 at a time to put through the paces and 500 miles (I think he said). Then GM takes them back and tears them down to check for any wear or cracks, etc., with the intent of continued improvement. I was impressed at GMs commitment!
