Is there a way to track the order?

I just placed my order today and so obviously I wont be able to see anything right now, but in the future (next week or two) I would like to see the progress. I have an order number off of "GM Global Connect" that they printedfor me.

Thanks. This is what it said:

Congratulations on placing an order for your new Chevrolet. Your dealer has received an order number from Chevrolet. Once your dealer has an available production slot, your order will be scheduled for production. You can sign back in at any time to see your vehicle’s progress or click on the accessories area below to further make this vehicle your very own.

Has anyone been able to track their order or have an "Official" order number yet. I've placed my order for the red 14 2LT but havent't got order # yet???
Not sure I understand what you are asking mikagee. When I placed my order yesterday they printed out the GM OrderWORKBENCH sheets. The sheets show my order number and it shows up in the system when I use the link provided below by Corvette Scotty.

Check my status today!!! WooHoo... here's what it said, "Queded for Production - Final order documentation is on its way to the factory, where the assembly line is being prepped, materials are being ordered and production is being scheduled. Once in production, your vehicle will continue down the assembly line where it will receive the quality manufacturing that makes it a Chevrolet. Check back soon to view your vehicle’s most recent status."

I placed my order on May 27th. I am #8 of 10 Coupes allocated to my dealer. My dealer provided me with my order number so I can see my car in the Chevrolet Tracking system, unlike a couple of people I know. I set a target date of October 15th which may be optimistic. And I set a countdown calendar to that date. I just went under 11,000,000 seconds. This is my first Corvette after a couple of Porsches (Boxster S followed by Cayman S). I loved my Cayman but went over to the light and ordered the new C7.

On my OrderWORKBENCH the Order Detail # has only letters. Ican't get any info from the listed site. Model/Order Information has
Event Description 2000 Accepted by GM Priority 1, from dated 06/08/13
I got a call from Bowling Green asking about the info I want on the customplate. I'm SMILING!!!!!

Lots of folks on the forum seem to know their stuff and they are invited to correct me. The online status lets you know where your order is in very general terms. There are actual 4-digit production codes which another member has posted (you may have found it already). That is the definitive status. I ordered about a month ago, long after many forum members. I just learned that my status is 3000, which is at the very beginning of the production cycle. There are at least four process steps to be executed (incl actual production line work) before the car is off the line. You can ask your sales person or the inventory manager at the dealership for a specific status. They get an updated report on Tuesdays and they can also check the internal system. The status on the consumer site only shows 5 milestones.. order placed, queued from production, production completed, shipped, and delivered. Bottom line...if you use the online consumer site, progress will seem painfully slow. If you get the ear of your dealership, you can bug them every couple of weeks and progress will be more visible. Since I'm old, bored and anxious... it makes me feel better to see progress.

It's been awhile since I've posted in here, but today I break my silence with the great news that I have moved to 3400!!

Dealership emailed me about 20 mins ago to let me know.
