I snagged this photo of a shipment of C7 Corvettes on the road! How excited Autoweek reader Dan Becker must have been to come up on that find on the highway!

I wonder if those were some of the ones going to the 60th Anniversary Reunion at Laguna Seca this week. There hasn't been any formal notice that 'ordered' cars have begun being manufactured. The Museum put out a notice that the Factory and Museum R8C tours will start on September 30, 2013. But at any rate we are getting closer!!!

sorry to say NO they are not heading to dealers yet, but was told that cover you see on the car is how they will "most likey" arrive to the stores on a regular basis

And we get to keep the covers. If you are doing a Museum delivery they will give you the cover as well.

We get to keep the covers? That's pretty cool. I'm guessing since they're for shipping that they'll be pretty high quality. Plenty good enough for garage queens anyway.

I think you're right and I'll also bet some if not all will show up at Carlisle as well next week.
