I believe most of the reviews are in and there are many out there. I would be interested in hearing about what review you consider to be the best or the most enjoyable to read/watch. And why your think the review is noteworthy. Thanks.

Here's I just saw one to add to the pile: First Drive Review: 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray | RawAutos.com :: The Connection Between Man And Machine

Many reviewers have slightly different priorities/interests. What has been amazing to us all is how universally positive they have been. Yes, some obvious exaggerations, such as Forbes saying that they are the best seats "in the world," yet the one review that keeps resounding in my head is Britain's Top Gear, which has been trashing Corvettes for decades, posting this overall summary: "What the Vette team has managed to achieve with the C7 is nothing short of astonishing..." They even call its driving, "stunning." First Drive: the new Corvette Stingray - BBC Top Gear

Do you think some of the issues about the auto tranny can be fixed with a flash and new tune from Chevy eventually?

Others have reviewed the auto trans and not said anything negative. As noted elsewhere, this reviewer loves manual transmissions and is generally negative about autos. Maybe just the auto in this review's car needs some help. Also, you made a good point in that current auto trans are very software controlled, something that can easily be software upgraded. Who knows, might already be a internal TSB notice for PDI specialists to do that prior to all auto C7's being turned over to the customer.

Most factory auto trans tunes aren't very good but with tuning it completely changes the feel and enjoyment of the car. I test drove a stock '11 mustang gt auto and it was a boring and horrible car but I drive my friends '11 gt auto with a tune and it was amazing, so a tune is big.

I did test drive a GS auto Vette a few months ago and I hated it compared to the manual but I'm sure a tune would make it much better. However, even though the trans is the same C6 to C7 the driver modes of the C7 may make the trans more enjoyable from Chevy.

Would having a tune done for the auto trans void the warranty?

Yes, but the car can be returned back to stock, but I'm not sure if Chevy can tell when the computer has been flashed. Ford counts key cycles and compares it to the mileage of the car to judge if the computer has been flashed.

For example, 10k miles and 10 key cycles is a give away that the computer was flashed recently.

Thanks Sinner. That's good info to have.

Car and Driver has a review of the Sting Ray's seats in the October 2013 issue. Lear makes the Vette's seats and Porsche's as well. The article claims that the four motors in the seat give 8 way adjustability versus the C6 which had three motors and a manually operated backrest angle adjuster

So much for the topic, should I edit the thread title ;)? FYI, I also liked the Top Gear review mainly because it was from that other continent, the one that isn't too friendly to Made in America. But for a blue collared, drives a Vette himself and can drop the F bomb, I liked the Smoking Tire review by Matt Farah. A reviewer without gray hair, well, also without hair.
