Ok I have included 2 pictures of a friends new C7 Conv. trunk area. The Cover for the top sticks out and looks like its not a quality fit.

He would like to know if this is a issue with everyone or just his.

I sugested Velcro or some tape of double side tape to hold it in place.

I have that "feature" on my convertible - easily correctable but I have been doing too much driving.

Mine sticks out the same way. Not quite the same fit as my C6. Maybe velcro would be the answer. It's not a problem, just doesn't look as good as it could.

Though I don't have a picture, I don't think that mine sticks out like that at all.

I agree.. It could look a lot better if it would have a pin like on each side installed.
I told him Velcro would be much faster and with out drilling.

So I viewed your issue and mine is the same, but while looking at the same issue of the OP, voila!!! I have a weather stripping issue!! I wish I could go a week with this car without some freaking issue coming up, either major or minor.
