C7 has clicking sound when pushing start button plus engine symbol displays. The clicking continues until I push the start button again. mjcarpenter21@yahoo.com

Check the battery voltage, maybe the battery is dead or depleted to the point it does not have enough Amps to turn the starter. If that is not the case, try disconnecting the battery for 15 or so minutes, then reconnect and try again.

 

Could you replace the battery? A battery charger with a "Start Engine " function might help. Is there anything wrong using one?

 

Take out the battery for a few minutes to reset it

 

You do not need to remove the battery, just disconnect the negative terminal.
