I figured out the Flag changing when traveling out of the country. When you go into Account Settings, there is an option that says Privacy, then there is an option that allow your location to be shown at the time of any post. I switched the option from "All Visitors" to "Nobody" which then allows the default to always be the USA Flag. That said, the location will remain static based on your location in your "Preferences" as in my case "EST Zone" ........ Mystery Solved!

Correct, because Kyle changed it to Privacy: Nobody

I fixed the missing flag issue now as you don't want to select "nobody" but when you select "members only" then the flag is back. Hummmm, so if I go out of the country and post something I wonder what the members of the forum would see flag or not flag? Wonder if the flag stuff should be moved into a separate thread?

Basically, I think there are only two choices: either the flag does not appear, or it appears and shows a flag based on the country associated with the last IP address from which you posted.

Everything else is just who is allowed to see the flag.
