While most Corvette enthusiasts refer to the 2014 Corvette StingRay as the C7, Callaway is calling their upcoming 2014 Corvette, the "C20." Is this the "C20?"

These "shopped" pictures are based on coupling:

1) Callaway's already-shared 2014 Corvette hood image; AND,
2) Its known AeroWagon "below the rear window" fascia rendering, the two together forming the basis of the "C20." All companies, especially car companies, use "visual branding" to tie their product lines together, e.g., repeating in the 2014 Callaway C20 rear fascia, the AeroWagon's a) three parallel, horizontal "strakes," b) its complete new lower rear diffuser, and, c) its exhaust "tips."

To help see differences between Callaway's "C20" coupe's rear likely-appearance and the factory 2014 Corvette:

From Callaway's web site, regarding its C20 project:

"Right now, 2014 Callaway Corvette parts are being designed, developed and tooled. A new Callaway supercharger system is in the works, retaining Eaton’s service-proven Twin Vortices Series (TVS) rotor pack, but with new manifold and intercooler strategies. Callaway engineers are also busy with a new Honker intake system design that provides increased inlet airflow and a new Callaway exhaust system that reduces exhaust gas restriction, while producing a deeper, more
robust exhaust note. 2014 Callaway Corvette pre-production power rating is estimated at 610 bhp (SAE). The 2014 Callaway Corvette package will be introduced at the 2013 price: $22,995."

While Callaway is preliminarily estimating 610 HP for their C20, many believe that they are significantly underestimating its final power, that it is more likely at least 625 HP. Callaway's C20 package will be available for both the StingRay coupe and the convertible. With manufacturing scheduled for the beginning of 2014, might Callaway "surprise reveal" their C20 next month at SEMA? For more Callaway C20 info:

Based on today's Callaway's release of information on their supercharged Chevy SS, and extrapolating (a not always linear transference), Callaway could get 625 HP and 525 HP for their 2014 StingRay coupe. Both vehicles use the new generation 5 small block. However, other vehicle architecture differences make such extrapolations "interesting," rather than accurately-predictive.

Callaway, we are still waiting for your release of the C20 Corvette coupe information. Your January start of production suggests we won't have to wait too long.
