Went to a local "corn festival" and they had a car show as part of the event. As I walked through I saw a white 1966 coupe.
On closer inspection I realized it might be the one I did a body on restoration on, it had factory air/black int. and 327/4 speed.
The owner was sitting nearby and I asked him how long he had owned it, he said his father bought it from some guy in 1977. Well that guy was me! His father passed away and he inherited the car. I was surprised how good it looks 42 years later. The paint job I did still looks very good, interior is still nice and chrome and emblems are excellent. I stripped and painted the car, sadly I don't have pics of it when it was stripped
I'm going to give him the original warranty book and 'protecto plate' I told him some history of the car and will give him some photos I still have.

After the restoration I drove it to California on vacation in August 1976

Nice Story. And great workmanship to have it still look so good after all the years...
