Can't say that is surprising...but nice to know 
I was cross-shopping both cars a few months ago and went with the Vette b/c I do track days. The Vette has more HP, torque, weighs less, and has great handling/grip. Pretty clear track winner to me. (oh and plus it is cheaper!)
