From the Facebook page: Bowling Green Assembly Corvette Club

Good Morning Friends, Families, Sponsors, Vendors, and Participants,

As you know recently the UAW and General Motors have reached an impasse in their contract negotiations resulting in a Strike that is currently in progress. You also know that the Car Show is at the Corvette Plant which is one of the Nationwide Plants involved in the Strike. With the uncertainty and timing we have had to make a decision on how we move forward.

Evaluating all things from vendors, participants, to out of town guests, and the inability to schedule an alternative date, we have decided that to be fair to all who have made plans and need time to change them we have decided to cancel this event.

We appreciate all who have a part in this show and take this action as a matter of respect. It's just a matter of logistics and the ability to get things together at this time.

A very Special thanks to all our Sponsors and we will be in touch shortly to discuss going forward in 2020.

All Sponsorship Monies, as well as registrations by participants, vendors and suppliers will be returned within the next 2 weeks and any additional funds will be distributed to our Charities.

We look forward to seeing you all next year. Again Thank You All for your support and Understanding in this matter. May God Bless You All!

Dave Chrisley

Thanks for posting Jeremy. An unfortunate impact of the strike.
