Car & Driver predictions last year were:

All versions would be called a "Z07";
It would not appear until the 2016 model year.
And now they are predicting it will weight between 3,600 and 3,700 pounds.

And I am predicting that Car & Driver is on a self-imposed path toward less credibility in my eyes.

Don't forget, John, but they have said that every option on the Z06 will come in at less than $100 k.

Actually, they just parroted what the C7 product manager said so you can still hold out hope

I have not heard Harlan say that, though it has been attributed to him. Did you hear Harlan say that at Daytona, from you I would believe it to be true, a second hand comment by Car & Driver, not believing yet.

No, I didn't so you may be right, it all stems from C&D which puts it in doubt. Where's Don Sherman when you need him?

Agree, and that is why I recommend you soon contact our forum's dealership supporting vendor, who will be selling 2015 Z06's for MSRP -- and has no ($0) documentation fee.

Please mention Stingray forums when you call Tommy Jr @ MacMulkin Chevrolet. Several forum members are already on his list for a Z06 at MSRP. Been on his list since last June myself. (603) 475-9903; [email protected]

And with MacMulkin having a 2014 allocation of over 1,000 StingRays, they will be able to get you your Z.
