[2nd Stingray]

I noticed in most pics of those who ordered black wheels that the center cap is black with the Stingray symbol outlined in chrome. My black wheels center caps are grey (gray) with the Stingray symbol outlined in chrome. I want black and was going to order from RPI but didn't when I realized they were $50 each! Given all the pics I've seen with black center caps is there a chance that maybe these were meant for the chrome wheels and I might have an argument for getting them replaced by the dealer?

What do other black wheel owners have?

Sorry friend but you don't have a case....crossed flags are standard....stingray blacks you pay extra....just like with the splash guards..

I think I made a mistake in the explanation. I meant "crossflags" not Stingray symbol. I just want black with the crossflags not gray with crossflags. I actually don't like the stingray centercap.

Dude if you take the caps off the wheels, the chrome flags come off, then all u do is lightly sand and paint black. So easy.... no more gray. And looks great. FIRST THING I DID TO MY Z51.

Not sure what you are referring to with gray. My caps are black background with the C7 Logo. There is chrome around the outer periphery. Same as above post. Hard to see here but if this helps:

Misspoke in my first post saying the caps had the stingray logo's, meant the Crossflags. But still most of the black rims I have seen on this site have black caps. Mine are gray. As one poster suggested they're a simple fix with paint but my dealer said he ordered me replacement ones already.

I think someone exchanged your caps in the Servive Dept. or at the plant. the caps are sent in a packet with the car not installed till the Del. process.

Yup have them. Just waiting for my black crossflages, corvette and stingrays. And weather where I can finally take it from the corner of the garage its been glued to. Ive owned it for 4 months and have less than 150 miles on it.

One suede sun visor, and chrome center caps on black wheels. 2nd Stingray, I think the quality check folks at Bowling Green were asleep the day your car went through. But these things will be easy to get fixed...
