Experience/knowledge requested. I have a Crystal Red with Kalahari on order since July 5. I was hoping that the early color representations of Kalahari were not accurate but it now appears that my initial concerns have been realized...the ordered color is rather dark/somewhat orange and is nothing like the C6 beige/tan interior which was a much better match for the crystal red, IMHO. Since I live in Florida, a black interior is not desireable. Gray isn't an option for me either. I'm toying with the idea of changing to Cyber Gray with Kalahari. Does anyone know if a change order would significantly impact delivery date?

Depending on your LT, perhaps Brownstone is what you're looking for?

I've toyed with changing my order but I just placed it 2 days ago! Plus the stuff I want can't really be worth 10k more especially when it's non performance related. I'm going to try and be 'wise' and maybe use that saved coin for futur mods.

I can understand your fears. I have my own with the same interior. I would think that a change in your order would be OK, but having said that it really depends on where your order is in GM's system. You really need to check with your dealer to get his guidance. As for "other" color possibilities, I think zimm888 (IMO) has offered up a good option for the Cyber Gray exterior, but I am not sure it would look good with red. There are several pictures on the Brownstone Int. in the "Lime Rock Green At Last" thread. The problem is that this is a picture too that may or may not look the same "in person". Good luck!

depends if the order has been pulled from the allocation.....if it has, depends then on what the internal status is, they can request a special move but THIS DOES DELAY THE ORDER AND THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES IT WILL TAKE.....they even tell you that, so if the order is pulled and past 2500 status, I would not risk it....

If order is still at 1100 status, you can do with it whatever you want....

Then if your dealer still has no clue, then you call me!

Not sure how you determined that Kalahairi is "rather dark." Here's what I saw with my own eyes. It is the most color-tone-accurate Kalahairi picture I have seen. However, if you do not like it, of course, change away...

Hey elegant. Thanks much for the effort. In these photos, it does look like it could go well with crystal red. It's not that I don't like the color, I'm just wondering about the combo. It looks great with cyber gray which is my second color choice. Again, much appreciation.

Personally, I believe that Kalahairi would go great with both CRM and CG!

Georgio; This might help a little too! You can't see a lot here, but that combination does look pretty good from what I see. I guess there is still a question of the color / light as seen and recorded by the camera and how close it comes to being accurate?

I'd LOVE to see a side-by-side comparison of the cyber grey w/Kalahari vs Brownstone interior. That would help me tremendously as I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan and cannot drive over to the nearest dealer for a look-see. Anybody?
