I just read a post on another forum and the author indicated that he had an engine oil leak in his car. The long and short of the thread was that another guy claimed that his Bowling Green guide indicated to him that engines came to the plant "overfilled" with engine oil, but he did not ask why. This strikes me as odd, so I thought I would ask you folks to check your car's oil level and report back.

checked at every other fillup, my dad taught me that....lol

then again, industry stats show 60% of owners have NEVER popped their hood

Was the level where it should have been the first time you checked?

mine has never moved from the correct full position....when i changed at 1250, i filled on purpose to the lower 1/3 of the correct range....

RedHot was right on the money when I picked her up in Bowling Green and was a titch high when I just checked her cold now. Had the oil and filter changed at the dealer at 2500 miles. Zero leaks any where.
