It should be an option and the badges too! First mod I did was remove the chrome sperms and the corvette letters off the back.As many love this feature and many do not like the chrome grill bar, wonder if this will be either a design change for the 2015's or an option for them?
I don't see Corvette turning into a vehicle which is extremely configurable from the factory. As the number of build variations go up, the manufacturing costs have to go up as well. Corvette prides itself on being a huge bang for the buck, so this would go against that goal. Also, the aftermarket serves people very well.
Of course I would love to be able to specify every detail on mine, but I know this would not be practical at the great price point of the 'vette.
